This realization you're having is probably one of the biggest that you've ever stepped into in your entire life. This goes for people in their twenties, thirties, forties, and fifties. There's a difference between someone knowing how to love and someone knowing how to love YOU the way you need to be loved. Some people don't even know how to love themselves. When people make dumb decisions in their lives, you're like, "You don't even know how to love yourself." You've got to love yourself more than people hate you. You've got to love yourself more than the person who thinks they're loving themselves, but they're covering it up by buying stuff, eating food, and smoking cigarettes.

Family members look you dead in your face and say, "I love you," then turn around and set you up for real spiritual warfare. Friends who drain your energy and then disappear when you need support. Listen, just because somebody spends a little bit of money on you doesn't mean they love you. What's the actual exchange happening here? You've got to teach people how to love you by showing them through your boundaries, through what you will and will not tolerate.

[46:32] Your Light Irritates Demons (And That's Facts). 

When you come out of this hermit mode, you're going to hurt a lot of people's feelings. Why? Because you're going to be brand new. You're going to solidify why you are that girl, why you are that guy. Your light irritates demons, and your growth reminds them of their stagnation. People are going to try to fight you just to try to bring you down, but everything doesn't require your sword; everything doesn't require your tongue.
